The Cableway Radar Automatic Radar Wave Flow Measurement System is a product system independently developed by HighReach. The radar wave surface velocity meter in the system utilizes the latest generation of flat-panel Doppler radar sensing technology.
It is primarily used to measure surface velocities of water, slurry, wastewater, and other substances. The system can be applied in fields like hydro logical measurement, flood control, environmental pollution and so on.

The Cableway Radar Automatic Radar Wave Online Flow Measurement System utilizes two 304 stainless steel wire ropes with a spacing of 300mm and a diameter of ≥5mm as the guide rails. The radar wave velocity probe, dual self-flow motor, radar velocity controller, lithium battery, radio station, and other equipment are installed inside the radar running vehicle. The radar running vehicle is suspended on the guide ropes through drive wheels and steering wheels.
When the radar velocity controller receives the operation command via the radio station, it controls the motor inside the radar running vehicle to move it to the specified position of the flow measurement section. Then, the position information is sent to the system controller via the radio station. The system controller, in turn, sends the flow measurement command to the radar velocity controller through the radio station.
Upon receiving the flow measurement command, the radar velocity probe starts the velocity measurement and promptly sends the measured flow velocity data to the system controller via the radio station. The system controller simultaneously collects water level data and transmits the water level, flow velocity, and other data to the flow calculation terminal for real-time calculation of the section flow. This achieves unmanned and automatic flow measurement for the section.
After completing the flow measurement, the radar running vehicle is brought back indoors and automatically aligned with the charging control box for recharging.
Central Station Management Software: Access the provincial center server via the GPRS public network. View the water level and flow process lines of the measuring station. Modify highlighted data points on the process line and retain the original values of the highlighted points. During non-flow measurement periods, manually control the addition of measurements. Calculate daily average flow and water level tables according to the specifications of hydrological data compilation. View and modify station parameters and reporting parameters. Includes station operation log management functionality.

02 System Equipment Composition
The system consists of a radar flowmeter, radar running vehicle, system controller, radar velocity controller, flow calculation terminal, online charging box, battery, radio station, RTU telemetry terminal, water level gauge (float, bubble, or radar), and central station software.

1. The on - site equipment is a complete unattended flow measurement instrument that can independently complete measurement tasks and obtain flow data.
It features a modular structure, with each part being lightweight and easy to install and disassemble. This also facilitates maintenance, repair, and replacement.

3. Equipped with dual self - flowing motors, the system's power and operational safety are more guaranteed.
4. It can automatically select the corresponding number of vertical lines for flow measurement according to different water level changes. It is fully automatic and can fully meet the requirements of hydrological specifications, with high measurement accuracy.
5. It supports multiple measurement modes, such as the regular timed measurement mode, the temporary on - site manual additional measurement mode, and the quantitative intensive measurement mode. It can automatically and remotely transmit flow data with time tags to the provincial central server, ensuring the measurement of all peaks, valleys, and the complete process of water level and flow changes.
6. It is applicable to rivers with a width of 200 meters or less, which basically meets the requirements of all sites suitable for radar - wave online flow measurement.
