In this article I'd like to talk about the installation of pressure0-type Level gauges. 

Correct installation and use of the product to extend the service life of the product, to achieve a good working condition, there is a non-negligible impact, so the installation of the hydro-static input level meter, specially put forward the following installation and use requirements:

1. Caution before installation

(1) Whether the measured medium is compatible with the structure material of the liquid level meter

(2) Whether the measured liquid will clog the inlet hole of the level meter.


2. The product measurement of liquid level, the essence of the gauge pressure level measurement, the sensor back pressure cavity has a gas conduit through the atmosphere to offset the atmospheric pressure changes brought about by the level measurement error, the product is connected to the atmosphere of the conduit, will be with the morning and evening temperature changes, there is condensation, especially longer wires, more water into the liquid level meter to form condensation and risk, so it is recommended that the optional waterproof junction box, the type of junction box has a waterproof breathable Molecular sieve, so that the atmospheric pressure is not blocked good transmission, but prevent water molecules from entering, to ensure the dryness of the back pressure chamber, to ensure that the product is a long time good and stable operation.


3. Installation in a hydrostatic pool is shown in Figure I, and in a deep well is shown in Figure II.

The installation direction of the liquid level meter is vertically downward installation, when used in moving water, attention must be paid to make the transmitter sensing surface parallel to the direction of water flow, so as to avoid the impact of water flow on the sensing diaphragm, the introduction of measurement errors.

For installation in moving water (river, reservoir, etc.), a hydrostatic device should be added.

(1) Insert a steel pipe into the watercourse, as in Figure 3, and punch a number of small holes at different heights in the direction of the backwater flow of the steel pipe to dampen water waves and eliminate the effects of dynamic water pressure

(2) In the case of a clear-water gravel streambed, as in Figure 4, shallow burial is preferred

5. In any installation and use, it is necessary to avoid the level meter probe touching the sludge layer, one is easy to damage the sensor diaphragm, and the other is unable to measure correctly.
